Permanent Data Removal

Deleted files can be recovered. We expect that after modifying, printing, or deleting a file, that all unwanted traces of the file are entirely erased. Not true, when a file is created, printed, or deleted, Windows maintains portions of or entire copies of the file in various locations on the hard drive. Free space, file slack, RAM slack, swap file, .TMP files, and spool files all contain data that many mistakenly believe is removed when the Recycle Bin is emptied. Datavic will permanently erase your unwanted data.

The amount of time needed to perform any requested service with depend on the Type of media to be recovered from, the Size of the media, the format and the amount of data to be recovered. We are dedicated to the fast, efficient and accurate delivery of our services.

• Hourly Rate for in shop work - $150.00 / hour

• Media Pick up - $30.00

• Password recovery - $75.00 for the first password and $25.00 for each additional password recovered

• Permanent Data Removal - $40.00 for drives up to 40Gb. For drives larger then 40Gb its  $1.00 / Gb

• Replacement Media – As the prices change often please call for a quote
